First it is considered Magic-physics at the edge of innovation-A Book Review

Have you ever wondered how the major researchers, scientists and explorers all they had reached in the past? Maybe, a glimpse in the more recent past period and current period would suffice. How would you like to go to the edge of the Earth in search of discovery? Well, it just so happens I know of a very good book that will indeed take you there. Not only to one location, but at many locations around the world where large discoveries, discoveries that rocked the scientific community and changed the way that we think past, challenging theories and insights of all that is.

This is a wonderful book, and one I have the pleasure of reading personally. Today about in my personal library along with so many of the most popular science books of the greatest scientists of our day. Yes, I strongly recommend that you also read this book. The name of the book is:

"The Edge of Physics-A Journey to Earth's extremes to unlock the secrets of the universe" by Anil Ananthaswamy, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishers, New York, NY, (2010), 322 pages, ISBN: 978-0-618-88468-1.

In this work teaches the reader of all the stories behind the scenes of some of the greatest scientists of our time, their personalities, quirks and work ethic. This book will inspire a scientist, future scientist or researcher who is out for adventure important breakthroughs. Many of the stories are so wonderful that they are almost beyond belief. In fact, the author has carefully chosen events and stories in the time frozen that seem surreal to the rest of us.

There are fascinating stories, such as the search for neutrinos in the deep polar ice, much underground. Imagine working in such a ruthless and cold environment. Well, you will meet and get to know the researchers who make that happen. There are chapters of the great cosmologists and their telescopes and remote locations as they piece together everything they can about our universe. The author takes you to the SETI project in search of extra-terrestrials, and the potential chance of first contact.

There are stories of Einstein a visit to these remote locations and the meeting of minds of this great discoverers. Also, you get a clear picture of the relentless (time) competition in the sciences for the Nobel Prize in physics and distinctions. This book is good sales presentations, with lots of information so that the reader can fully understand exactly the theories and research scientists do in these remote parts of the world. I hope you'll enjoy this book as much as I did.

Space, time, physics and possibilities-A Book Review

Understanding of space-time physics is not easy, but insight in the fundamental theories that scientists now believe the most realistic photo paint is not so difficult to understand. It only takes the curiosity and the patience to concentrate, open your mind and consider. But first you are going to need a good book, one that is illustrated. Also a physics reference book that walks you through all the Einsteins theories along with others who have added new concepts to the science of space/time physics.

Luckily, I own such a book, one that was published in 1966. You may think that is too old, and that we have learned much since then. And Yes, yes we have, but the fundamentals are relatively the same, especially when it comes to the "relativity" or the theory of. Now then, is the book that I would recommend to you:

"Space-time physics" by Edwin f. Taylor and John Archibald Wheeler, W.H. Freeman Company publishers, San Francisco, CA, (1966), Library of Congress card catalog Number 65, 208 pages-13566.

Both of the authors are/were physicists, one of MIT, and the other of Princeton. The book begins with the discussion about the geometry of the spacetime, and all theories, rules, principles, and unknowns that go along. Then turn right into the momentum and energy; how they relate to mass, and the growing universe-and there is a rare find-an absolutely fascinating dialogue on the concept of mass, light, and the arguments of the space-time physics, at least at the moment in 1966. Some of that is resolved, but not all the positions agreed people still more to learn.

If you've stuck on anything related to Einstein's theories or are hung up on curved space time, gravity warping, or the differences in strength, mass or the principles of relativity-you'll be very pleased that almost all your questions answered. Those who don't can be clarified or at least couldn't be answered back in 1966 are not there, but you will have a great insight to that point, and can remain the right questions to your personal research online.

My favorite points in the book were the reasoning of the various paradoxes of time, space, energy, movement, light, and so on. It's just a really fun place to think, and this book will your mind around the universe and back, as well as by to take the time and back again, and so I come to you with this excellent book recommendation. So, please consider all this and think about it.

Physics Book Review – learn more about light and holography

There is more that meets the eye to light, but it is exactly that which meets the eyes that intrigues us most. Welcome to the science of spectral imaging, holography and holographic projection. If you are interested in this topic and topic as much as it does me, then I would recommend a very informative book on the subject. The title of the book is:

"Principles of holography" by Howard w. Smith, published by Wiley Interscience, New York, NY, 1969, 239 pages, Library of Congress Number: 69-16129, SBN: 471-08340-2.

The author of this book was the senior research assist in the research laboratories of Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, New York, and his & R D Department were on the leading edge of this technology. As you know, the Eastman Kodak company was very serious about innovation and their market share them billions of dollars back in the day had brought forward. At the time this book was written, it was probably one of the most comprehensive books on the subject of holography.

Today, of course, there is so much more to know, but many of the basics are here, and this is a good book to start if you want to know about this topic. If you want to learn about the history of holography is all here, too. Similarly, all the mathematics that go along with holographic image projection and holography is here too. The book describes the basic arrangements for holography including flat and volume holograms holograms, along with the general theory for each.

There are plenty of mathematical equations for the projection of light, temporal Filters, linear motion and movement oscillating object imaging. You will learn more about how to alleviate with the bundle, and what happens if you have the bandwidth or to adjust the recording medium. There is also an analysis of the third order aberrations, and the book even comes in Lasers.

Indeed, I have quite a number of books about holography, read and I've even written a book on the subject titled-"holographic projection technologies of the future-killer applications" and so I know a thing or two about the topic. I can tell you this is probably one of the best books ever written on the subject, and to think that it is written in 1969 just completely blows me away. I therefore recommended it for anyone who is serious about research in spectral imaging or holographic technology.

Everyone should be interested in this topic because within the next five years will your iPad, iPhone, smartphone or tablet pc video conference of holograms allow. That technology will soon be here, and many of the world's largest companies are right now that technology to bring to the foreground. She designs chips with which this type of communication, and equipment to run it. I hope you will please consider all this and indeed seriously. If you have comments, concerns and/or questions, shoot or case studies, please drop me an email as soon as possible.

Innovating for Our Alternative Energy Future - Book Review

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Indeed, as the coordinator for a think tank I always like to discuss alternative energy solutions with the our various members. You see, I am a free-market capitalist and I am looking for the most efficient alternative energy innovations and inventions to power up our new future. And, as I say that, I am also one with a very skeptical eye to some of the new concepts and ideas which have been put forth, and some which have been handsomely funded, but will never be able to make the grade and/or compete for return on investment in the marketplace.

There is a great book that I would recommend that you read, and the book was published back in 1992, but it gives you a very good idea of where we have been, and perhaps where we are going and how we got to this point. The name of the book is;

"Experimenting with Energy Conservation" (a venture book) by Robert Gardner, Franklin Watts Publishers, New York, NY, (1992), 128 pages, ISBN: 0-531-12538-6.

The author Robert Gardner was a physical science, physics, chemistry, and biology teacher in Connecticut. And he is very well known in the library books sector, "as the master of this science experiment books." Have you ever wondered why restaurants serve ice that has holes in the center? Did you know it's all about the conservation of energy? Have you ever considered how much energy it takes to increase the temperature inside your home just 1-degree?

If you can wrap your mind around such things, then perhaps you can understand why energy is so important in the world today, and why we are beholden to the laws of physics each time we devise a new method to convert, or generate electricity, or energy. Since efficiency is the key, conservation is also extremely important. Consider the conversion rates of solar cells and how important that is to our alternative energy future and you will begin to see why you need to read this book.

Now then, if you understand the foundations and the principles behind the conservation of energy and the physical confines that we are trapped within this particular place and time, then, and only then can we move into the future and come up with the proper inventions and innovations to take us into the 21st century. You can read this book in one sitting, 3-4 hours.

Indeed I hope you will please consider all this, and perhaps consider reading up on the conservation of energy, and consider some of the many experiments you can do to help educate yourself and your children. Please think on it.

Critique of Frank Close, Et Al: The Particle Explosion

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

For those with a need to know, this book furnishes the latest in quantum mechanics, particles science, and ultimate theory as we know it; the author explores the known parameters and perimeters governing theory, in minute detail, and to date in 2005. In pictorial review, we glimpse the latest in collider technology and efforts to isolate the ultimate particle. Here, the writers introduce particles decay or annihilation into lesser quantities; where, particles disseminate their mass into energy parcels ultimately transmutable to differing or original state. Thus, science demonstrates the known state of mass in flux, easily transmutable into lesser or greater particles and force.

Frank Close, Michael Marten, and Christine Sutton combine to explain the latest in particle explosions, decay, or annihilation. Here, we begin a spectacularly illustrated tour of subatomic worlds, the science of particle physics, and participation in attempts to understand the very nature of matter and energy. In so doing, we come to understand, how, at one time or another, our body will reuse atoms or energy once included as a part of Moses the patriarch, or Isaac Newton the physicist; also, we will have breathed an oxygen molecule whose parts might already have been inhaled by every other person who ever lived!

The authors illustrate an extended particles panorama provided through the great accelerator and collider experiments; where, particles are hurled at ever increasing speeds to collide with other particles; particles are thus treated to determine the very essence of matter and causality for our existential serendipity. If you can imagine 1-TeV, that is, one trillion electron volts, you can partially grasp the speed now artificially imposed on particles too small for natural observation, racing toward collision with targeted components --and with collision, leaving telltale signatures of presence and decay from the building blocks of matter on prepared registry.

The authors provide hundreds of film-exposures illustrating particle annihilations, and entirely reproducible in other elements as proof of particles diversity. This journey into the heart of matter encounters a subatomic 'zoo' habituated with quarks, bosons, leptons, 'strange,' 'charm,' and other peculiarly named antiparticles and companion particles. Holding Doctorates in their chosen field, the authors describe major particles and groups of particles in great detail and furnish collider tracks to verify findings.

Particle physicists can now transform our understanding of atom workability; still, they do not approach the Grand Unified Theory, the theory reaching matter's ultimate particle isolation. But such is only in the wings of science and will burst forth in the near future. If readers desire pictorial demonstrations, knowledgeable text, and a scientifically advanced flow into matter investigation, this book is a must.

Two great mysteries complicate the mystery of life: the 'ultimate particle' able to instigate and sustain life and eventually to also erode humanist life force, plus the Theocratic Essence esteemed to prolong human life-force from its created existentialism into an invisible. Seemingly, the two are at odds with one another and have perplexed the greatest minds over centuries, seeking answers to theories most difficult to envision. Science is hard at work to discover the former, and theist/atheist debate is hard at work to resolve the latter. As to the first, an equation is possible to explain the first and which equation questions the present ultimate speed of light; additionally, the argumentation of atheist and theist are both wrong in basis, positioned from biased opinion or emotion, and neither extreme syllogistically proving their position. Yet, recent research exists to resolve both the Ultimate Particle and Ultimate Destiny.

Readers are invited to peruse our best research and test the answers now accepted for these age-old questions.

Ben Winter, particles physicist, Bible scholar, and author of "THE GREAT DECEPTION: Symbols And Numbers Clarified," reveals there 'is' something new under the sun -- that is, for modern Bible students. He addresses correctness of language and true intent of the major Bible topics: solves Bible mysteries, defines Gog and Magog, reveals Daniel He-goat's surprising identity, and dares to number the all important Ten Ages. Colonies on Mars - Imagine That - Book Review

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

They say that if the human mind can imagine it, visualize it, and think about it; it can create it. Indeed, after studying human innovation, I could not agree more. Perhaps, that's why I enjoy science fiction like futurist art and innovative future like concepts. Every once in a while a book comes out, with the right tone, images, and feasible technologies that change the way we think and what we believe is possible or not.

One book I have in my library is just such a book; it's not a large book, it's not much bigger than a magazine, but it is in full color, and it depicts colonies on Mars, base stations, rocket ships, and all the technologies needed to live on the surface of a planet that is not hospitable to human life; for instance how to build the green houses, create oxygen, and recycle everything including; human waste. Perhaps, you'd like to look through a book like this as well, to help you dream into the future, so we can all create it. The book I'd like to recommend to you is;

"Popular Mechanics; Space 2100 To Mars and beyond in the Century to Come," by the editors of popular mechanics.

One thing that was very interesting about this book is that they push the date out to 2100 when in reality we actually have the technologies to create a colony on Mars right now. Of course, we don't have the will to spend the money to do it right, so it may be a few decades until we do, or until there is a new resurgence of the same public drive we had during the Apollo missions to the moon.

Nevertheless, someday it will be so; if you'd like to see a futurist depiction of what that will look like then I would very much recommend that you buy this book. Please consider it.

A Review Of "Super Strings And The Search For The Theory Of Everything"

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

It is often a fancy idea and an interesting endeavor even to think of the theory of everything leave alone find one, yet it is an adventure in the search and indeed it was an adventure unlike any. It is an adventure in to the inner depth and in to the fundamentals of the beginning itself and the stuff it was and is made of and how.

The adventure to the past in search of the beginning is as much a time travel to the past as much it is a time travel to the future that it may be only at the end that we truly find the meaning and the true stuff it was made of, for when the end somewhat becomes the beginning the knowledge, the essence and being of the two will merge. At such a time, there shall be no matter but information or knowledge and there shall be no process unknown everything from the beginning to the end and everything from the end to the beginning have been a matter of recorded history. Till such time the end and start converge, due to the curse and blessing we are burdened with we have to continue in the search and the adventure of discovery to fill in the gaps and blanks that will only cease most likely when everything else and all ceases, is nothing and no more. In that we could be saying the totality of what is, is nothing more than what we can imagine and we are capable of imagining in an open ended extension even not bounded by negative and positive infinity for even infinity and zero which are analogues concepts. Zero and infinity as all numbers are values but none descript existent but not reachable as examples and manifestation of ever continuity. In a way the digital world of mathematics and physical sciences and the analogues world of the arts philosophy and religion seems to merge somewhere at the end of our journey and the beginning of everything and ours at infinity and at zero in apparent breach of our ineptitude to imagine and cognize beyond what is as our basis. After all we might have been thinking of the dual characteristics of matter and reality itself as analogues waves and digitized particles as separately and distinctly instead of dualities as we have long concluded of light as what is an established reality. The digital world outlook and the Mathematical model by in large is a model that fails to fill in all the gaps and leaves space between the gaps and leaves everything to the best possible approximations and its world and universe crisp and noise free contrary to the noisy and continues Universe and reality. We may attribute the greatest of contribution to digitize and sanitize the universe and reality to calculus's limit in a great recognition of its limits in spite of all its monumental accomplishments in translating the Universe and reality to an understandable and working entity. It is the noisiness and continuity of the universe and the ineptitude of mathematics to be exact and as continuous the one and the fundamental challenge of reaching the fundamental which simply becomes a mathematical (+infinity) unreachable as that. On the hand our individual and collective descript life with a seemingly defined beginning and end imposes on us to find and search a beginning and end to everything there is yet on the contrary past shape, form and content our own beginning extends beyond we could thus far say, see, hear and touch with the beginnings of everything which could have been pure knowledge (information) upon which the material world constructed itself. The issue then becomes whether this stage of pure knowledge or information is attainable and if superstrings are pure information and knowledge or material constructs of this precedent information and knowledge. In fact Schwarz's and Green's base their theory on the assertion that super strings are not even point particles rather are extended objects like strings that rotate, spin and vibrate in an apparent separation of space and matter with the space in which these extended particles rotate spin and vibrate by a force field. Devoid of this field there wouldn't be space.

It therefore would be easier to speculate whether yet the fundamental lies within this field that is instrumental for the manifestation of space and may be time along with it or as a dual unity of the suspended particles and these force fields. "Einstein taught that space-time is curved and deformed by the presence of matter and energy. Whenever matter and energy is present, Einstein's equations allow physicists to calculate the new curved geometry of space -time. But the curious thing is that they permit for a curvature even when no matter or energy is around." There are two things that bothered me the most in the above quotation as a non mathematician and a lay man the first one being that ability to imagine an empty Universe and the second one is the ability of the mathematics to have preceded the universe itself to have been able to calculate this cosmological constant even in the absence of a universe( an empty universe is to me a no universe). It seems to me most or all mathematical equations are subject to conditions in their formulation and execution and wondered if one of the conditions for this equation to work and be true is that there can be no empty universe or if the assertion is made in the pre unI find a lot of filled blanks and gaps in this book as I tried to travel in to the inner depths of the far beginnings of ours and everything we have thus far known and will ever know. Over all I would say for a lay man of my background and average caliber, it was worthy of a reading and a challenge filled thriller. It is as usual from this lay man's perspective that I often raise may be some naive even some downright stupid questions and draw some conclusions and may sometimes even come up with some idiotic conjunctures . It is with deep respect for the author and understanding of my rights to agree and disagree with whatever was written and illustrated in the book and the rights of others towards mine and with my report, in search of answers, enlightenment and understanding that I take the monumental task of reviewing this book and writing this report.

In our search of the fundamental beginning of everything and we have often been convinced of reaching it no sooner than we found ourselves in breach once and again. This reach of the fundamental and beginning has always been a mirage that often dissolves in to the thin air no sooner than we concluded that it indeed was what we thought it to be. Armed with that history and the ever expanding human reach beyond its current reach, as "current" recedes in to the past and "future" makes headway in to the present; with skepticism and doubt that it indeed is the final frontier and with certainty that it indeed is a new breach to what has thus far been known and believed, I would like to lead you in to the layman's simplistic journey to the complex Nano world and beyond, to the ultimate minuteness itself.

As you might have seen and read a number of times describing myself as a lay man not from the fear of criticism or the luck of spine to withstand one, rather to emphasize the enormity of the subject matter and how little and ignorant one could be in light of the material under study. After all it is a subject matter that is beyond the reach and an imagination past what we can imagine that we are discussing and often fail short of imagining to imagining what preceded the imagination if at all possible. Or perhaps we are able to imagine beyond the extensions of our individual and collective experience unbounded at all or however hard we try we are simply bound by what we have known and what is out there in the objective world's possible extensions at the most. It is mathematical deductions inductions and abstraction alright, yet still beyond what scientific methods calls for the verification authentication and conclusion of a scientific reality at least not yet for we are imagining beyond the reach of our current sensual extenders. May be it would seem we have been caught up with arrogance of what is beyond the most possible extensions of our experience, knowledge and reach of our current available sensual extendersiversal beginning then talk of the empty universe somewhat becomes irrelevant.

To me the universe from its initial beginning to its final demise is full if there are such beginnings and ends, what is it that fills it may be open to examination, speculation, determination quantification and qualification but its fullness a self evident reality beyond question and the mathematical equation that allowed curvature in the "absence of matter "is not a proof of the absence as asserted rather a proof of material presence in whatever form and state; a form and a state that could take some time of our future and a distance to be covered for its discovery and determination. As to the assertion of Stephen Haw king's matter being created out of the fabrics of space time itself it still does not preclude the existence of a universe filled with space time fabrics but matter, which in effect voids the concept of void or may be space time is equal to void? If that is contrary to the thought of man creating the concept of time-space out of the fringes of its Neurons rather its neurons gave meaning to an already existent reality and a reality that preceded it. As neurons existed in space-time, may be space time existed in all reality as a precursor to itself as the following quote from the book testifies to this duality of reality and reality of duality and ever continuous divisibility.

"The classification in to fermions and bosons is relevant in another way. Fermions make up the material side of the Universe, while Bosons are responsible for its force. Physicists call bosons the carriers of the weak-strong and electromagnetic forces it is hypothesized of the gravitational force." Even our reach of the very minutest of forms of matter seems to have either carrier or yet manifestations of other forms as are gravity in bosons and bosons in gravity or yet in vibrating, rotating and spinning super strings only to reach at a final destination of our quest if only this super strings were to rotate and vibrate in a unit space time for rotation, vibration and even spinning presupposes space time, yet still posing the challenges of discovering what this space time in which these rotations and vibrations happen is and is made of or simply what constitutes it. May be is worth to pose and examine some wise word of the bible here which tells us not to think beyond which we can't and take the words without further question as though we could surpass our limits to question or experience . Nonetheless the early acknowledgement of or limitations beyond which we simply part by faith not by any established facts and truths however hard we try to dissociate or associate from the word faith. That seems to be a one convergence point and simultaneously divergent point for the Idealists and materialists to start to traverse their independent paths and come to. That could be why it seems that we have twos of many things for a full Unum, seemingly contradictory, on the opposite sides, and going in opposite directions, yet balancing and equilibrating from and at these fulcrums of convergence and divergence points.

As it is often said and I have been accused of not having the guts and will to take a side to advocate for, I have often said and say it know, none has the total monopoly to the ways and the spectacle with which we can observe the universe and reality to date and the real universe, and reality lies somewhere down the middle if only stripped of personal interests. That for sure is a gut wrenching stand to take for we are all created or evolved to be with un indelible fact of self interest that may not even be limited to us or even living things. Excuses if I sound a person on a double road, I do understand and I am mind full of the fact that the two roads traverse different terrains with different challenges, but I am confining my thoughts and argument only to the points of origin and terminal. If I may take a procedural note of caution I seem to have been derailed from the subject of our discussion which is theoretical and may be practical physics, as we lay men often get mixed up with all things from all cross boundaries taboos and creeds unabated by the stiff brittle disciplines of professionalism, before any one shouts fouls, I extend my apologies and make it clear that it was not at all intentional.

Critique of Kenneth Amdahl's There Are No Atoms

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Contemporaries praise Amdahl's effort to reduce electricity to its most simple dimensions and allegorical illustration. His peers offer the greatest recommendation: "We all feel somewhat dumb when it comes to electronics... a proper tonic for this ignorance... is a major breakthrough in teaching the elementary physics of electricity... should be required basic reading for high school science students...even a blockhead like me, who could never visualize the abstract, was able to penetrate the nebulous mists of amps, volts, current, induction, and conductors, and actually understand what the hell they're all about. But above and beyond the practical, Amdahl, with a magical energy all his own, has created a wonderful book about a beautiful and powerful mystery. Actually, this book is about electricity and everything else, too.

Amdahl introduces reality with an admmonishion to people who honestly believe they understand electricity -- but can no more explain the inner workings of electrical phenomenon than they can breathe life into a crescent wrench. This dire prediction opens a more modest pathway for students who might be intimidated but desirous of filling the gaps in particle science. Even now, after years of study and silent debate, we read of emerging theory for 'The Ultimate Particle' -- with offered dimensions -- basic to understanding this same force of electricity but heretofore unpublished.

The most basic understanding revolves around static electricity; where, like charges repel and unlike charges attract; which phenomenon results in the positive and negative assigns readily recognized in basic science. Realizing how man resorts to analogies or parables, he reverses technique by bringing the complex into simple uniformity. Thus, Amdahl converts the world of resistors, capacitors, diodes, current, amps, watts, and volts into easy conceptions of electrical magic transforming our utility and technological masterpieces.

One fault in Amdahl's science is his description of atom theory: he proposes electron theory to maintain everything in the universe is composed of tiny particles called molecules; and most are too small to be distinguished even when using the best microscopes in the world. This definition of universe particles is not entirely correct, according to the minuteness expected in basic particles; therein, we might expect the ultimate particle to be a tiny, small, nanometer fraction of molecule mass (molecule mass composing two or more atoms). Even so, this journey into ultimate physics is not important to the simplification of electrical terms and workability but is offered here solely as a basic energy constituent.

While electricity might be hard to understand, as to wellspring and discontinuance posits, there can exist no doubt as to workability. Home appliances, transportation, computers, and other electronic marvels attest to the electron's driving force. Truly, Amdahl simplifies a very complex subject -- worthy reading for the professional electrician or the homebody who only flips a switch to advantage this most basic boost to advanced living.

Amdahl's use of the biblical 'parable' to express electron mystery and complexity is well-used to magnify the hidden force in particle motivation, as was the use of kabala or cabbala in biblical communications. Cabbala and parables were extensively used to hide the real meanings of prophecy and principals in the legal-historicism giving rise to monotheism. Recent research converts the complexity into simple understanding. You are invited to further investigation and thus to compare these findings with traditional rote. And we must ask the question of Amdahl and other exponents of physics: What is the physical quality of the electron's ground state as opposed to its quantized maximum at the 204th orbital? Solution will determine size for the Ultimate Particle.

Amdahl's book is highly recommended reading for the budding physicist or career-minded electrical tradesperson.

Ben Winter, particles physicist, Bible scholar, and author of "THE GREAT DECEPTION: Symbols And Numbers Clarified," reveals there 'is' something new under the sun -- that is, for modern Bible students. Does it really matter what the fifth State Is? -Book Review

Plasma is called magic, it's called the fourth State of matter, well, come to think of it, it's called a lot of things isn't it. If our progress and human scientists from the planet travel to destination locations, continues the study of plasma an important part of the we need understanding. Consider if you will the importance this state of matter, plasma physics and Forth and why our future scientist should be well-versed in the topic.

WikiPedia explains the plasma in this way; "In physics and chemistry, plasma is the State of matter similar to that in a certain part of the particles are ionized gas. The premise is that the gas heating it dissociates the molecular bonds, enabling them in its constituent atoms. Further heating leads to inonization (the loss or gain of electrons), turning it into a plasma: which contains charged particles, positive ions and electrons negative "and I would say that sums it up quite nicely.

But that's not the half of it, because consider all potential applications and applications, not just for space, propulsion, power generation, etc, and so on, but also to our understanding of the cause generally, along with the universe we live in. If this topic interests you as much as it blows my mind, maybe, I would like to recommend you a very good book. A I own and totally believe is the "best" book on the topic, I have ever seen. The name of the book is:

"Principles of Plasma Physics for engineers and scientists" Umran s. Inan by (Stanford University) and Marek Golkowski (University of Colorado, Denver), Cambridge Press, (2011), 284 pages, ISBN: 978-0-521-19372-6.

Yes, this book is quite expensive, and probably not for the average Joe with curiosity of such things, is the book that I have here a hard bound work and it costs $ 100. However, it is also worthwhile. The book describes one particle movements, kinetic theory of Plasmas, multiple liquid theory, collisions and Plasma conductivity introduction of waves in the Plasma, and Plasma spread among many other things, especially interesting for me was all the information behind the effects of ionization, waves, magnetization and temperature on Plasma.

The appendix is excellent and that alone is worth the price if a solid reference to have around. If someone has a class on plasma physics teacher was, this would be the best textbook around, not to mention a perfect reference book to have handy, that is what I use it for. Indeed, if you are an engineer, scientist, grad student, researcher, or want to be, then you need this book too. Please consider all this and think of it.

Criticism of Richard P Brennan of "Heisenberg probably slept here" book:

In this anthology science-physics Chronicles Richard p. Brennan the life, times and ideas of the great twentieth-century physicists. He praises in preface, extraordinary security principals that large contribution to quantum mechanics principles: Advanced reasoning from the likes of Newton, Einstein, Planck, Bohr, Heisenberg, Rutherford and Feynman. Each of these great minds contributed major theory and breakthroughs to improve the physics world-view; their thinking projects a continued study to the essence of the matter.

Setting the stage and the basis for the classical physics, the great physicist Isaac Newton quotes Brennan (1676), who to even more ancient theorists, even back to the time of biblical Daniel and Greek Democritus refers. Newton said: "if I have seen further than other men, it is because I am standing on the shoulders of giants." Indeed, more Giants were on the road; they would be a division of effort between classical physics and quantum mechanics to develop. In the meantime, our intrepid author touches on Copernicus, Galileo, Kepler's and contribution to, movement and speed; What comments were built on in Newton's inquisitive mind. He was first to light spread in its spectrum and back in white light, closure of light consists of small particles. Newton entered in the Principia, F = ma (Force equals mass times acceleration), now considered to be the most useful physical law ever written. Newton assumed the arXiv system to prove existence of God Science and thought that a form of worship.

Brennan briefly addresses the following four hundred years of small advances, until the arrival of the Supreme genius of our time, Albert Einstein. Quiet, Einstein thought his way in history. He provided the special theory of relativity, constancy of light speed and the boundlessness of the mass at light speed, E = mc2, and included relativity of simultaneity. He Later developed this note, General Relativity: with, in essence, principles of equality, whereas gravity and inertia are two different words for the same thing. Einstein changed forever the way intellect should the view of time, space and matter intercept. Add to this his cosmological constant, later rejected, still later revived: the factor to the invisible force our universe in space continuum into account.

Simultaneous with Albert Einstein, Max Planck, Karl Ernst Ludwig came to fame in 1900, aged 42, Einstein than about 21 years old. Equally astute, Planck is the father of quantum physics, ushering in modern physics in contrast to classical physics: Quantum theory the cooperative medium. Planck developed E = hf equation, and therefore the stalemate about frequency, wavelength and light and heat radiation tend removed. Comparison: ' the quantum of energy are designated, and is equal to the frequency, f, of the radiation times Planck's constant ' h. Max Planck, Einstein wrote a glowing tribute to an excellent in the field of science.

Also concurrent with Einstein and Planck, Ernest Rutherford rose to fame and awarded as "the father of nuclear energy". Rutherford also arose the provision for half-life in radioactive substances, whereas every living thing contains carbon. With a half-life of carbon-14 decays into nitrogen-14 5.570 year, and can be measured with some precision. The relentless habit is useful to age-date many geophysical, archaeological and paleontological specimens.

Brennan notes: ' where Einstein was a theorist, Rutherford was a Vejle. As an aside the famous physicists are praises bibliographic Gleanings intellectuals tend to musical talent--apart from abiding interest in metaphysics. Not unlike the requirement in metaphysical exegesis hangs the quest for the unseen and unknown in physics like developed insight, intrepidity, serendipity and above all concentration.

Niels Bohr was another contemporary of the great physicists already mentioned and was prominent in the fifth Solvay Congress, where about 30 of the world's most reputable physicists to debate quantum mechanics, complementarity, continuity, discontinuity, correspondence, the duality and uncertainty collected. Niels Bohr was not the last, but one of the many honored by Brennan of pen. If one wants to travel the long road to Quantum mechanics, physics, advancement of knowledge, or to explore the brainpower of thinkers who the road, then this book is a good place to start. How great to have this meeting of thoughts of the great minds of physics giants.

Apart from the world important physics studies is the enormous metaphysics field open to new evaluation confirmation or rejection, Calif. syllogistic. Advanced studies are available to explore largest motivational power of humanity: his sensitivity to the, to the invisible and unfathomable to the unknown. Brennan makes several observations of the great minds preoccupation with the mystery of Biblical interpretation.

Ben Winter, particle physicist, biblical scholar and author of "THE GREAT deception: symbols and numbers clarified," reveals that there is ' something new under the Sun--that is, for modern Bible researchers. Critique of Gordon Frazier's The New Physics: For The Twenty-First Century

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Utilizing the considerable contribution from twenty-three eminent Physicists, adept in their particular field, and together with one hundred eighteen bibliographic gems, Gordon Frasier brings the world up-to-date concerning advances and theory championed by experts working in the multiple physics departments.

With considerable research to his credit and employing contribution from twenty-three other physicists, eminent in particular fields, and together with one hundred eighteen bibliographic gems, the author brings the science world up-to-date concerning advances and theory from experts working in the several physics departments. These leading physicists explore the modern science frontier: evaluating the standard atom model, particles, forces, stars, and satellites. This knowledge assembly emanates from scientists in multiple disciplines and is rather technical for the layperson. At the same time, one cannot help but garner a modicum of insight by exploring these 526 pages of selective indoctrinations.

Fraser gently eases the reader into difficult science mysteries, easily quantized into logical measures and qualities at the first, from the microscopic to macroscopic. Here, we discover the transmutation of particles into recognizable mass and vice versa; where, neutrinos are theorized at a very minute portion of electron mass -- experimentally proven to transform into other neutrino bodies -- even into photon, lepton, and baryonic character.

In total, The New Physics encompasses a scope too broad for wide address in critique; also, much is left hanging in mysterious presentation. We offer an example, concerning supersymmetry: "Supersymmetry is the name physicists have given to a possible new symmetry of Nature, hitherto unobserved, that underlies one of the most audacious efforts to build a theory more comprehensive than the Standard Model." Surely, we can agree with supersymmetry eventuality; however, the author's theory advances into more fundamental quantities as the basis for supersymmetry. This above quote is only one example of the theoretic approach serving to explain physics and the Standard Model. A new paper on the ultimate energy basis is forthcoming; wherein, the ultimate, micron particle will demonstrate a sufficiency for perpetual energy employment.

Fermi reportedly said: "Physics is what physicists do late at night." And as physicists slowly resolve theory with experiment, we will increasingly find new prophetic intuitions penned in books such as The New Physics and resolved in future experiment. Only the seasoned physicist and intrepid logo-phile dare read this book in its entirety; but for the patient, the curious, it will open to avenues scarcely traveled before. The secret to atoms, to molecules, to life, to mechanics, even to life origins, rests in the physics surrounding fundamental particles origins, utility, and transmutation.

This book is recommended for those with an abiding interest in physics, metaphysics, and especially particle science.

While physics has its mysteries, so does metaphysics present almost the same puzzling backwash of unanswered questions flowing from the strokes of mystic writings, closed to common people, and reserved until the answers appear too late for benefit. Now, the bottom line is available for those with the need to know. The necessary research has been accomplished and awaits your critique.

Ben Winter, particles physicist, Bible scholar, and author of "THE GREAT DECEPTION: Symbols And Numbers Clarified," reveals there 'is' something new under the sun -- that is, for modern Bible students. Traveling Through Time - We Are Getting Closer to That Technology

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Have you ever dreamed of time travel, perhaps go back and change something that you did wrong or a mistake that you made in your past? Have you ever wondered where you would wish to travel in past periods or if you traveled into future periods? Well, I think we all have and if this subject fascinates you, as it does me, then let me recommend a very good book to you:

"Time Travel Einstein's Universe; The Physical Possibilities of Travel Through Time" by J. Richard Gott III; Houghton Mifflin Company, New York, NY; 2001.

This is a great book and easily worth the $25.00 and the physicist makes lots of points about the differences between Newton's Universe and Einstein's Universe and theories. And now with all we know about quantum physics it is obvious that time travel is possible, the question is can we physically send a living organic something through time; that we'd like to see. This book takes a look into the reality of the physics behind time travel with chapters titles like:
Dreaming of Time TravelTime Travel in the FutureTime Travel in the PastTime Travel and the Beginning of the UniverseReport from the Future

This book is well footnoted, annotated and cited, so the author knows what he is talking about and builds a very strong case that, Yes, time travel is possible and in the future we will be able to travel through time. Perhaps, this figures considering the author is indeed, an astrophysicist at Princeton University.

I would recommend this book for anyone who has ever considered the "Grandfather Paradox" or was intrigued by such movies, which have plots and genres that include time travel such as; Planet of the Apes or Back to the Future for instance, although there have been so many others.

Representation of a Vector

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

The length of the arrow on a certain scale represents the magnitude of the vector and arrow-head, and gives the direction of the vector.

Let us consider an example. Suppose an aeroplane flies towards east with a velocity of 500 km/h. To represent the velocity of this aeroplane we first indicate north south direction on the paper.

Secondly, we select a suitable scale, say 100 kilometre per hour being represented by 1.0 cm, just as we do while drawing a geographical map. According to this scale, 500 km/h will be represented by 5 cm line. Now we draw a line 5c, in length parallel to east direction, and put an arrowhead at A. This arrows represent by the velocity vector of 500 km/h toward east. The length of this arrow represent the magnitude of the given vector on a selected scale and arrow-head at A indicates the direction of the vector. So the line is called representative line vector. The initial point O of the line is the tail, while the arrow -head is at the terminal point of the vector.

In the above example, the velocity of the aeroplane has been represented by using north-South and east direction. However vectors are often represented by using any three straight lines mutually perpendicular to each other. One of these is named as x-axis, but we shell restrict ourselves to two lines. Such two lines are called reference axis. For example, a grass mover is pulled with a force of 15 N acting at an angle of 30 with the ground level. In this example x-axis represents the ground level and line drawn at 30 with x-axis gives the representative line of the required force.

It must be remembered that a representative line represent the given vector and it may start from any point provided its length and direction is not changed. Some time a vector is represented by two letters written at two extremities of representative line. In the above example, the force vector F--> can be represented by The arrow on indicates that the direction of this vector is from O to A.

Criticism of Sir William Bragg's book: concerning the nature of atoms

Sir William Bragg, Nobel Prize-winning physicist, developed the law of diffraction. With this formula, scientists can measure of an atomic diameter. The measure is so minute as to defy understanding, but x-rays diffracted from the Crystal's surface can be measured with a consistency than disputation of Atom; Therefore, we measured the dimensions of an atom, in increments of one hundred-millionth inches (10-8 cm), expressed as one Angstrom know.

Bragg describes a universe entirely consisted of atoms, in both gaseous and compound State, and where: combination takes place, and something in the atom itself maintains the when conditions are met. The whole of chemistry is concerned with the nature of these terms and the results; However, the atoms are never perfectly still; at least they vibrate and rustling about average positions, like the parts of an iron bridge vibrate when the train are span vibrates.

Sir William reduces the complexity of the science to the most common language; Indeed, the book is a primer physical science; Still, contains the significant information not known to the majority. His thesis requires no scientific background from readers, even while exploring the complex nature, dimension, energy incentives and attraction between certain atoms--especially the tendency of molecules to grow in more complex conglomerates and in a predictable way.

First, if an old Alchemist, now in scholarly science and advanced biochemistry, man endeavors to rest of atoms with his own specification and special needs. Hydrocarbon fuels are a good example; It is here, in the world of Atomic bonding, crude oil can be refined in ethylene, hexahydrobenzene, naphthalene, etc. simply by addition or removal of carbon-hydrogen attachments. Therefore, we can understand how the simplest molecule (binding between two or more atoms) can be converted into more complex forms in the presence of light, temperature and pressure.

Your criticism author would suggest the presence of ' Atom ' in molecular intellectuality, tend to inhere attraction to his advantage; It is, without question, any human body cell (via atom covalence and molecular interaction) communicates with her neighbor cells for mutual survival and programmes its own independent contribution of living knowledge cellular existence. However, this observation is over Bragg's intention; for he would address laboratory procedures to determine the mass and the number of the different elements and therefore the fundamental properties of the element--not neglect to seek favorable binding Atomic tend with other atoms. He continues: ' lies in combinations of their interest. Atoms can be compared with the letters of the alphabet, which can be composed in countless ways to form words. Atoms can be combined to form what we call molecules into equal diversity. '

Of radioactive measurement of various elements, Sir William the atoms are so minute that hypothesis posits necessary measurement in the 1/100,000, thousandth '. Further brightening smallness Atom, electron are posited to be size is about 1/10, thousandth of the core. If the reader has some interest about the nature of things, then, this book is recommended for noviciate and scholar alike, as a primary introduction to physical science; Here, people can examine with interest the most fundamental nature of atoms in gases, liquids, crystals, and metals.

We, as humans, but a mass of Atomic substances; our body cells and substrates can pass of their own survival contain intelligence; and certainly, we would, intellectually gifted by Atomic interaction, curious about the intelligence support independently committed our composite intellectuality.

Force and Motion

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Why are some object accelerated and other are not? How can an object traveling in one direction be accelerated in another direction? What are the causes of the increase in the velocity of a moving object? These question and other can be answered when we extend our discussion of motion of object to another branch of mechanics known as Dynamics (after the Greek word Dynami meaning power). In dynamics, one discusses the cause of motion and how, they affect the motion? In the study of kinematics, we need to know only the position of the object at a certain time in dynamics the pushes or pulls which cause resist the motion, are studied.

It our dally observation that we need force to make a body move.

For example, we must kick a football to make it move and push or pull a cart to carry it from one place to another.

Thus we can say that force is that agent which can produce motion in a body but sometimes force may not succeed in producing motion in a body.
For example, if a boy pushes a bus at rest it will remain at rest although the push of the boy tends to produce motion in a body. Hence one must say that force is that agent which tends to produce motion in a body. Even this definition is not complete because force can also be used to stop the motion in a body.

It is a matter of common observation that when we catch a moving cricket ball, we apply a force in a direction opposite to that of the moving ball thus stopping the motion of the ball.

Therefore the complete definition of force would be, force is an agent which changes or tends to change the state of rest or the motion of a body.

Brenda Maddox's critique of the book: "Rosalind Franklin: Dark Lady of DNA"

According to Rosalind Franklin's great-grandfather, she was a descendant of David, King of Israel, 945 B.C. Born in 1920, Franklin ascended to fame on the world stage of the twentieth century. Rosalind Franklin was accredited by renowned author Brenda Maddox biographically, the real mastermind behind DNA structure discovery.

The main, crystallographer Rosalind who originally photographed the DNA strand, after many attempts, leading to the prestigious Nobel Prize awarded to Crick and Watson. Needless to say, she couldn't have managed without her contribution; and needless to say, she wants her contribution in their paper submission and physical model of deoxyribonucleic acid neglected.

The precocious child, Rosalind never relented in the quest for knowledge and progress beyond its peers. Always, they strived to excel in the academic world, in science and in the industry, and top brands in all academic courses and scientific enterprises received. Although a very handsome woman, left her quest for excellence little time for romantic bonds with the many men in scientific circles linked to. She met an impressive array of intellectuals and those with scientific (and romantic) bent, she did not marry and died at the young age, only 37. Many men wept on her demise, recognize the hardships endured, the lack of recognition and the short-lived life of an attractive and extremely brilliant Hebrew woman, mathematician, biochemist and biochemist. They moved on to excellence despite open opposition to anti-Semitism and authoritative women: growing up in a time when women were not allowed to vote, assertive positions to do little but brooding occupy or children and keep house.

Fluent in both French and English, she developed her native intense interest in putting an end to the British mandate in Palestine and Israel and reinstatement was incensed by French sovereignty news coverage of the transition. In correspondence with her father about an article in The Economist, she demanded, "who is responsible for the article: now there can be no settlement of Palestine of any kind, but force." Despite her loyalty, she was in contact with the Middle East and the Arab mentality grudge for anything non-Islam; prophetically, the French article was entirely correct. Sixty years later, it remains the Arab world its jihad against unbelievers.

Despite her optimism Rosalind's interest and expertise put not so much in the metaphysics as in physics. Well maybe they direct interest to the material; for example, cannot harmonize the intangible monotheism, then proven, advanced within the disciplines simultaneously under his three constituent branches. Nevertheless, Judaism must condemn the Christian-Islam approval; Christianity must condemn Judaism-Islamic neglect Messianic recognition; Islam and the Judeo-Christian ethics and ethos must condemn. But Rosalind was more interested in Atomic tendency and not in Gnostic warring tendencies.

When Rosalind Franklin arrived at King's College in 1951, at the age of 31, they arrived on the heels of Schrodinger of (ruling research at the time) question about: What Is life? And his answer was: ' life is animation of the inanimate. ' Not particularly in-depth, but the touchstone of the times.

In particle physics development year, Einstein, Bohr (and many others) lent their expertise through relativity and quantum mechanics, molecular science and industry progress loans to biochemistry. Without delay, geneticists discovered twenty different protein molecules present in living things. Further, they found only four proteins occur in DNA sequences, in different combinations called purines (adenine and guanine) nucleotides: two pyrimidines (both thymine and cytosine) and two. We produce maybe a more clear composite we should say that each of the four nucleotides contain a sugar, phosphate and base; and we can add, these direct every aspect of DNA nucleotides (bodily) function. We give cytosine the atomic structure as an example of the constituent simplicity: C4H5N3O (the other three have C5 and variant other elements).

Great advances were known when arrived Rosalind Franklin at King's College. In the 40 's, had ' atomic fission ' and ' hydrogen fusion ' already perfected. Avery wrote a paper In 1944 which shows not only the genetic message carrier DNA and protein; Chargaff determined the frequency and in 1949 the tendency of the nucleotide repetition. Rosalind exhausted on the heels of first half-century NYC, long hours perfecting her body exposed to x-ray diffraction techniques--an excessive amount of radiation in the process. So, we know in retrospect, crystallography was her life and likely cause of her death. But by spectrographic technique, they extracted DNA images of unparalleled and others to race against the clock and the coveted Nobel Prize claim enabled. Of the many scientific advances of her Rosalind's biggest success was one DNA images.

Brenda Maddox writes a tragic, but earn story of extraordinary intelligence, tireless dedication and perseverance. Rosalind Franklin was one in a million. I read this book almost right through. I couldn't lay aside. She studied in both physics and metaphysics as it relates to the origin and destination of our species.

Critique of Kenneth W Ford's The Quantum World

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

How small is small? Five billion electrons per second are said to travel through a light bulb. Ten million atoms in a row stretch less than one-tenth of an inch. Thus, in the first Chapter, Beneath the Surface of Things, on the first page, Kenneth W. Ford introduces readers to Lilliputian measures. Here, we discover atom smallness, its power, and the governing force for life itself: contributor of industrial might and expounding on the uniqueness of speed, light, and time.

Ford introduces us to a minuscule mass of leptons and hadrons, in company with fermions and bosons; and in so doing, he reveals the soul of element characteristics, of sub-particles quick to change configuration, and of specific activity inhered in particular matter evolution. We discover the pairing of particles and sub-particles into mirror reflections of particle self, the particle and antiparticle: able to miraculously merge into other classifications and yet split again to go separate ways. We begin to unravel of particles in powerfully controlled conditions.

Certain fundamentals are necessary to grasp the significance of Cyclotrons, Linear Accelerators, and even the powerfully endowed Tevatron. These devices are able to propel particle missives onto collision courses, at almost visual light speed, and thus create evidence and decay of matter particles. But to understand cause leading to the experimental effect is to read the fundamental instigation of matter interchanges as laid out in orderly fashion in this book and other physics endeavors intended to simplify the atomic world. Here, Kenneth W. Ford writes an appealing account of quantum physics, to help the serious reader make sense of advanced science. Admittedly, with all its successes, quantum mechanics remains mysterious even to professional scientists.

At the core of this book are big ideas of quantum physics, including energy, granularity, wave-particle duality, the uncertainty principle, nature of fermions and bosons, plus superposition and entanglement, where, an atom can be in two or more states of motion at once.

This book imparts both wonder and fundamental knowledge concerning the strange laws governing atom workability, nuclei force, and interchanges regulating our quantum world. If the reader enjoys physics, experiments, and theory, they will enjoy this comprehensive insight into super-speed and minuscule-sized worlds of motion, space, and matter. Readers with abiding interest in particle mass and behavior will enjoy this journey into the minute and busy world of quantum interactions.

Those interested in the almost incomprehensible world of quantum mechanics, thus the physics world, might also be interested in the less translucent world of metaphysics. While the world of physics deals with physical reality, the metaphysical deals with those things not answerable to science and including the supernatural. In this area, serious enquiry raises questions and changing interpretation of biblical code, of secret principals, and of the time line faulty in traditional conclusions. Such error is understandable, for Bible authors intentionally wrote in cabal or parable to hide theological intent. Recent research has penetrated the legal-historical cabbala and disclosed its true intent to those with interest. Readers are welcome to compare these findings with traditional misinformation.

Critique of Stephen Hawking's A Brief History Of Time

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Probing Quantum Mechanics and Relativity to probability limits, the author envisions a theoretical progression from The Big Bang to Black Holes. He explores matter origins, energy excitation, physical dualism, metaphysics, and universe destiny. Finally, he predicts: with physics and metaphysics conjunction, 'we would know our own mind!'

Wheelchair confined at an early age, the eminent physicist has since battled the ravages of Lou Gerig's disease, all the while wrestling with controversial particle behavior and managing the prestigious office once held by Isaac Newton at Cambridge University. One of the top twenty physicists in our time, Hawking communicates via a voice synthesizer. Immobile, except for reduced digital dexterity, he remains undiminished, a legend in his own time.

Concerning Determinism and earth genesis, Hawking remarks "According to early Jewish-Christian-Muslim tradition, the universe started at a finite, and not very distant, time in the past... today we still yearn to know why we are here and where we came from." The author disputes popular creationism and monotheistic timing for a more realistic and exceeding time span beyond religionist yearnings. But most recognize the immense time in evidence; even casual interest will intercept the number of light years necessary for visible light particles to travel from the most distant galaxy to earth, 14 billion light years. This immensity disputes monotheism's claim to a late creation and proves astronomical time to far exceed traditional finiteness.

Hawking's interest centers in the ultimate particle and how to overcome Plank's quantum hypothesis; compromised by electron behavior to induction of energy, "... one cannot use an arbitrarily small amount of; one has to use at least one quantum. This quantum will disturb the particle and change its velocity in a way that cannot be predicted." Yet, theorists should be able to predict a speed and quanta outside visible light and with considerable accuracy.

Hawking concludes: Other intelligent life forms might exist; and other universe scenes might appear very beautiful; but they might not contain an intellect able to wonder at that beauty. "One can take this either as evidence of a divine purpose in Creation and the choice of the laws of science or as support for the strong anthropic principle... that this whole vast construction exists simply for our sake. This is very hard to believe."

For a coup de grace, Hawking quotes the philosopher Wittgenstein: "The sole remaining task for philosophy is the analysis of language." Hawking then adds: "But if we do discover a complete theory: it would be the ultimate triumph of human reason-for then we would know the mind of God."

"Analysis of language," from the above, is especially relevant in the evaluation of physics and knowing "the mind of God." In biblical immutability, in an analysis of language, we discover a key to resolve the atheist/theist debate and as it might relate to 'the mind of God.' We appreciate the great mind of Stephen Hawking; but in biblical prose, we discover the God residence was moved from its early First Century site: the Temple, to another place: man's intellect. This God residence was finally destined to end the God-husband to tribal-wife marriage contract.

Do any wonder where the God anomaly resided and was to reside at the new site -- and length of tenure? Aside from incomplete records and in lieu of advanced theory, we cannot know the mind of God; for, in the legal-historicity furnishing God ideation, lies an immutable realization: God resides in the mind of men, millions of different minds, and once resident in the Temple until the 'end of all things:' that is, to the end of contract, to the end of Ten Ages. The Bible is much easier to decipher once fully understanding time frame and terminus for the Ten Ages contract. Even so, A Brief History Of Time is an interesting read from front to back.

The key for intercepting mind over matter is available to those with interest.

Ben Winter, particles physicist, Bible scholar, and author of "THE GREAT DECEPTION: Symbols And Numbers Clarified," reveals there 'is' something new under the sun -- that is, for modern Bible students, addressing a correctness of language and true intent of the major Bible topics: solves Bible mysteries, defines Gog and Magog, reveals Daniel He-goat's surprising identity, daring to number the all important Ten Ages. The Way from Science to Soul - Book Review

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Using quantum physics to illuminate the spiritual journey? The author does just this in the book, "The Way from Science to Soul: Integrating Physics, the Brain, and the Spiritual Journey," by Casey Blood, PH.D. But, why would you do such a thing? Why mix science and soul, quantum mechanics with spirituality? Dr. Casey Blood is a Professor Emeritus at Rutgers University, so if he wants to do this, I suppose he is qualified to. I'm not a scientist, so what do I know? A little something about spirituality at least.

Physics is the study of the physical universe, and one wouldn't expect to learn about the spiritual side of life, or the nonphysical universe when reading about it. However, Dr. Blood begins our education on this matter with an in-depth coverage of physics and quantum mechanics, the brain (including the synapse), and how these all pull together so that we can either see the spiritual side, or choose not to. The point of it is that there are several versions of reality to perceive while we choose to only see one; the existence of the soul can not be disproved, nor proven by science. So how does the nonphysical soul interact with the physical world? The soul can perceive the physical brain and through this, perceive the world. But, the physical world is not the only plane to be aware of. The soul can exist on many planes, the physical, the angelic plane, which is closest to the source of all, and the "jinn" plane, which is where our souls can communicate with other souls. Dr. Blood explains that our soul's journey is much longer than that of our earthly existence, and that we have time to spend on each plane.

Dr. Blood describes spiritual practices which help us to remember that we are a nonphysical soul that has a physical body. These practices include meditation, yoga, focus on breathing, using retreats and finding teachers to help us. These practices though, are not the end goal. Our personality and contribution to society is important too. Dr. Blood states that we need to develop certain qualities like insight, compassion, friendship and wisdom and gives guidance on how to do so.

I was a little worried when I was asked to review this book. However, Dr. Blood takes a very complex topic and relates it to the average reader in a carefully chosen tone of support. The interest in spirituality is growing in leaps and bounds so that this connection to quantum physics will surely have a target audience, but, is still something of interest to the masses. The book is not an easy read, but it is worthwhile to wrap your physical mind around it for a time. Your spiritual mind will thank you.
